and served as a key member of start-up education finance technology service provider
ELM Resources in 1995. He leads Cology with a proven expertise in strategic planning,
organizational and business development, administration, product development and
process improvement. Paul’s core values of integrity and results continue to serve

that want to lend with individuals that need to borrow for their education.
Accomplished business builder and consumer marketing strategist with 18 years experience
in financial services, customer acquisition, relationship management, direct mail,
referral marketing, internet distribution and consumer finance origination. Bill
brings entrepreneurial experience to Cology, successfully building private mortgage
businesses, including Avalon Funding and Tri-Mark Capital. He provided leadership
and direction in the design and implementation of technology solutions to promote
pro-consumer marketing strategies, expanded market penetration and dynamic internet
distribution channels.
Veteran technologist with over 25 years of experience in information technology,
including 19 years of system design and development in student lending. Greg directed
the development of the student loan industry’s first on-line loan delivery platform,
first electronic signature and blanket guarantee process, and was influential in
the design and launch of the industry’s premier national data exchange platform
for ELM Resources. His commitment to innovation led to his co-founding of Sabertooth
Systems, Inc., as well as playing leading roles at Wachovia Education Finance and
NCS Pearson. Greg leads his development team with passion for future-thinking solutions
and first-class service to customers and business partners.
System design expert and dedicated technology engineer with 21 years experience
in information technology and education finance, focused on loan origination and
servicing system design, sub-system architecture, transaction processing, data management,
reporting and reconciliation. Her prior experience includes Co-Founding Sabertooth
Systems, development leadership with Wachovia Education Finance and Western Computer
Services. Pam brings a customer focus that helps Cology respond to the changing
needs of the marketplace.
Relentless customer advocate and collaborator with 13 years experience education
finance, including Senior Vice President of business development for The First Marblehead
Corporation, as well as VP of Customer Service/Collections for TERI. He is a frequent
guest speaker at various student loan conferences and for the U.S. Department of
Education. Brian’s tenacity and commitment to service bring unparalleled support
to his partners, clients and customers.
Innovator and tenacious problem-solver with over 15 years experience in education
finance, consumer banking, loan origination, contract administration and client
relations. Stacy has been responsible for the direct management of $35mm annual
operations and loan servicing budget and she helps lead Cology with proven expertise
in business plan execution, product design, customer integration, client account
management and contract negotiation. Her leadership experience includes Wachovia
Education Finance, First Union National Bank and Placer Sierra Bank.
Business strategist and accomplished negotiator with over 25 years of legal and
business experience, including asset acquisition, lease and financing transactions
and corporate acquisitions, structures and governance. Former partner in law firms
located in New York, New York and Phoenix, Arizona, founder of his own boutique
law firm, and former in-house counsel to General Electric Company and GE Capital
Corporation.
Customer champion and recognized business consultant with over 23 years experience
in higher education; sales, business development and client services. Denise served
in leadership roles with Student Loan Xpress, Wachovia Education Finance and National
City, providing consultative services to schools and lending partners nationwide.
Product designer and analyst, delivering customer-focused solutions to the education
finance marketplace for over 18 years. Neill has lead development of loan program
guidelines, credit policy, underwriting procedures and portfolio analysis for Wachovia,
First Union and CoreStates Financial Corporation.

planning and analysis, accounting, and business process improvement; primarily in the
consumer finance industry. John’s ability to strategically drive positive change comes
from a diverse background as a CPA, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and experience in
companies ranging from start-up to Fortune 500 financial services organizations.
While VP of Financial Management at JPMorgan Chase & Co., John standardized financial
reporting practices across Chase’s five consumer lending businesses. His financial
leadership continued in Home Equity Originations at Wells Fargo & Co, where he led process
improvement initiatives focused on increasing operational efficiencies and customer
satisfaction. John’s passion for financial analytics and fiscal discipline are key
ingredients of Cology’s innovative formula to help connect people that want to lend with
people who need to borrow for their education.

Tim’s broad experience includes financial aid operations at the Bryman School and University of Phoenix,
business development for Wells Fargo Bank, and operations management with Wachovia Education Finance.
Most recently, Tim managed corporate development initiatives for National Lending Associates,
responsible for the development and management of their private student loan program.
